Since it is my last day of Christmas break I really was feeling pressure to get the nasty painting in the front hall done. We hadn't finished repainting the ceiling all white yet and the walls were still the awful "renter's beige". We have repainted the living room a pale green and the ceiling is a sparkiling white so it looks nice and the many years of several attempts at painting the ceiling were all covered over. Now, it all is a uniform clean white. It looks great, but what a job. Poor neck and shoulders, but having the right roller REALLY made the difference when painting over old popcorn ceiling. And now no more little "things" will fall down off the ceiling!
I am going to work on painting the woodwork white over the next few months and we will get some new doors to update the hall look.
Becky and Kyle dropped by last night to pick up her very belated Christmas gift, it finally arrived via the Fed Ex man! Yay! And Dylan and Kyle had a great cup stacking event. :)

Hooray, hooray! I'm so glad you guys got a leaser for the condo. I've been walking around quite happy for you all day. Woohoo!
Congrats on the condo. I hope everything goes as planned. Happy New Year.
Congrats on the renter for the condo - Jonathan will be excited as he's prayed for you to sell your house or get a renter for 18+ months now :-)
Yay. 2009 will be a better year! Congrats. Getting that woodwork updated will also be a chore, but I'm sure you'll love the outcome. Wish I was closer. It'd be a fun project to help out with (except for the sanding and painting part, of course!)
