My week June 29 - July 6th

Monday I worked at getting a PT, an OT and an Adapted PE person hired for my department at work. Didn't feel like I was on vacation yet. But, things were starting to look up and I had the rest of the day to myself to plant another tomato plant, get the hot tub cleaned out, sort some stuff that needed putting away and other asundry jobs.

Tuesday I watched Becky's kidlets again so Kyle could work. I went to their house this time. As part of my birthday present to Becky, I thoroughly cleaned her house so when she came home that night it was bright and shiny. I so love to come home to a clean house and hope she did too. Katie really loved spraying the cleaner on the floor and on the toilets and stuff and helping me out.

In the afternoon I took them to the local park and they had such fun riding their scooters and climbing all over the gym equipment. Made a hot day fun.

I keep having fun with the Wii Fit, as does Dad and here is proof that I am younger and younger.... :) Dad and I have a lot of fun skiing, playing soccer, balancing, running, doing dance aerobics and boxing on this silly game!

Dad and I drove to Odie's place in Canada on Friday the 4th ( Happy Birthday Kyle! ). Just before we left, there was this great young buck in our back yard, with fresh soft antlers. I am learning to quilt and have put together this quilt top so far while here and hope to get it finished. We played Mario Kart with Keith last night and had so much fun. Oh, the movie Vantage Point, was terrific! That is about all for the week. Finally it really feels like summer vacation is here!
